War Resisters Event: Monday February 7, 2010 at D Howes from 5-7pm Come listen to Ashlea Brockway tell her interesting story.  Ashlea finds herself in the unique position of raising two small children, while her husband recovers from the trauma of war.  Ashlea also has to navigate the complexities of refugee laws at the same time trying to get welfare assistance from the Ontario government and also try and find psychological assistance for her husband in a country with minimal expertise in post-traumatic stress disorder.
